Everything I Know About Love...

...I learned from my family!
I'm a sucker for a lovey dovey holiday like Valentines Day. I hated it as a teenager and called it "single awareness day", but now that I have someone (or a family) to celebrate with, I am loving it (no pun intended). We started celebrating V-Day last week when Marlie and I heart attacked Chris' office while he was away at a meeting. (He, he, he)

But I was thinking about all the great things I've learned about Love over the years. I've experienced varrying degrees of love by lots of different people.

What I learned about love from...

My Mom: Love is giving and kind. Love tastes sweet!
My Dad: Love is being tougher on your only daughter because she's your favorite ;)
My Brothers: Love hurts. Love is long suffering. And love is forever, no matter what.

Marlie: (oh boy!) Love is fun and silly. Love is yummy and comforting. Love is tired. Love is dirty and sometimes love stinks! But love is Big and all incompassing. There's always enough love.

My Hubby & Best Friend: Love works hard. Love is laughter, but love is also sad sometimes. Love is adventurous and sometimes spontanious. Love is faithful and spiritual. Love knows not the hours of the day. Love is full of surprises and yet so predictable. Love keeps all your secrets. Love is "whatever you want Dear". Love is forever and always - no matter what.
