My new favorite beach (well, next to Sanibel) is Honeymoon Beach. Maybe I shouldn't tell. It's a well kept secret I guess. Maybe no one else is crazy enough to come to the beach when it's raining...? We didn't have much choice. Unusual rainy weather while we were there. Huh. Remember our flight there? A good indication of the trip. Luckily it was mostly afternoon showers, but the first day we head to the beach it was a nice warm all-day shower. Oh well. We took our family pictures and swam anyway.
He he. I love feet pictures!
One of my faves! The waves, the wind in her hair, the colors... mmm.
(like it's a brownie or something... geesh Candie)
I think 9 days of being in someone else's home, doing things you don't usually do, staying up too late and not getting regular naps just made for a grumpy Aubrie (like that is unusual or something). She was very... anxious about the water and the waves. She was either snuggled up with Chris or content in the sand. Hopefully we'll be back again in a few years when she can really enjoy the beach experience. (like it's a brownie or something... geesh Candie)
She looks like such a natural beach bum. Blonde, wind-blown hair, super tan complexion...
This beach is located on the Gulf side of the state. These waves and pretty unusual for the Gulf. The wind was REALLY blowing that day. I'm just glad it was warm!
Sand in the hair!
This is 'Grandma Palmer'. She was so kind to take lots of great family pictures for us here at the beach (those to come soon...) Marlie was so excited to be buried alive.
LOL! This face gets me every time!
Have you seen the movie The Sandlot? Remember when Squints fakes drowning to get mouth-to-mouth from the lifeguard, Wendy Peffercorn? Ya. If you've seen it, you're laughing.

Tired girl. Time to head back home.
