How fun is Halloween?! The trees are so pretty this time of year, it's cooling off outside, and there's pumpkin bread in the oven! Mmmm... We took Marlie to the pumpkin patch with her Grandma & Grandpa Giesey, uncle Josh, and cousin Shayleigh last weekend. It was a bit chily outside, and Marlie was a touch grumpy from teething, but we had fun anyway. Carving the pumpkins was much more fun though. Marlie seems to not only like those cute, little, round pumpkins, but likes eating them raw too! She took a big ol' bite of the innards as Chris was scooping them out. Ewww! In honor of Marlie's favorite 'animal', we carved a fish on her first pumpkin. I think she's a bit confused - is it a fish or a pumpkin? I'm rather excited for her costume! It'll be a surprise... but she is dressing up with her buddy Briea! :)

(more pictures of the finished pumpkin when I get them... doh!)

Wow, I didn't know that Chris hated pumpkins so much.

So fun! This time of year is definately my favorite! We are in Cedar, not yet settled, but IN...whatever that means. Hopefully your transition is a little smoother ;) Can't wait to see what Marley is for Halloween. Ashlynn (who turns 4 Halloween, AH!) is Princess Jasmine, Taidan is Spiderman- little paded muscles and all, and Brynlee is Snow White. I can't wait! You motivated me to hurry and blog our pumpkin patch experience...so hopefully I'll follow through. We miss you guys! Keep in touch!
